At IMEX Americas Trading, LLC (IMEX) we are working on the new version of our business pages.

IMEX was founded by Derrick Lugo who has been in the import/export business since 2001. The first trading transaction took place in the city of New York, USA for a Brazilian client in the Beverage Category. Since then, Derrick has been developing new markets for it's clients not only in USA and Puerto Rico his home-based but also into other countries. Today in 2019, IMEX handles export representations to more than twenty-five (25) clients from twelve (12) countries in four (4) different product categories.

Our main markets are Panama, Costa Rica, USA, Puerto Rico and Canada. We've got humble beginnings with a global vision since day one (1). Today more that ever we value our organic growth but at the same time recognize we have to speed up with technology and stand up with "in a high-growth mode" looking to expand responsibly.

At IMEX we are very proud of our footsteps and achievements. We continue to expand our horizons with new product categories to maximize our worldwide network of manufacturers, clients and buyers. Our clients are located in Thailand, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, USA, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and Brazil.
